What is Thai Yoga Stretch?

Thai Yoga Stretch is a form of yoga therapy that combines rhythmic massage, assisted Yoga poses, acupressure along energy meridians, energy work and meditation. The massage recipient wears loose, comfortable clothes and lies on a mat on the floor. The receiver may be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, but deep static and rhythmic pressures form the core of the massage.

The practitioner uses hands, elbows, forearms, knees and feet to give the session.  A session can last between an hour and an hour and a half, and includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body.  There is a standard procedure and rhythm to the massage, which the practitioner will adjust to fit each individual client.
