Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems is a form of talk therapy that  allows us to get to know our internal psychological system.  By identifying our different internal parts (such as the part of us that is anxious or the part of us that holds shame), IFS allows us to gain space from intense feelings and work to bring more ease to all parts of ourselves.  By gaining space from these emotions and identifying the underlying way all of our emotions are trying to help us, IFS enables us to unblend from overwhelm and gain a greater sense of internal harmony.
